Wondering where to play shuffleboard in London? You’ve come to the right place because we’ve got the lowdown on where you can find the best tables with our unique curved playing surface making the game so much more fun. The real challenge is deciding where to go first.

Check out our guide below to our fave places to do the SHUFL in the Big Smoke.

There’s no doubt that BrewDog’s flagship Tower Hill Outpost holds the capital’s crown for the most SHUFL tables under one roof.  So, if you’re in the neighbourhood, then this is the place to go to catch championship feels (we held the 2019 European Shuffleboard Chamipionships here in November).

A stone’s throw from the River Thames, it was BrewDog’s first BrewPub and brews small-batch fresh beers on-site.  So, grab a pint of their finest and sip and slide to your heart’s content on one of three full-length shuffleboards until you’ve mastered all 22 feet of the SHUFL curve. These tables are so popular that BrewDog hosts a monthly shuffleboard tournament where shuffleboard enthusiasts can compete on the last Tuesday of every month for a whopping £100 bar tab and the coveted title of shuffleboard champions!

If you’re more West London, then BrewDog Paddington’s waterside spot with a view of Paddington Basin is a great shout. The first to offer a designated Desk Dog co-working space, we can’t imagine a better way to unite with your fellow co-workers and refresh those creative juices than by sliding a puck down one of our two 22 footers!

After a day earning a dime in Canary Wharf, you’ll definitely be on the hunt for some after-work chill. You need look no further: Sports Bar & Grill is a premiership sporting experience and the good news is there’s two more in Marylebone and Old Street.  Their winning concept combines live coverage from SKY and BT Sport of all of the major national and international sporting events with games rooms.  These three are home to no less than five Grand Champion SHUFL tables.  So, whether you’re looking to do some team bonding with work colleagues after hours or simply challenge your mates to a knockout tournament, it’s game on with some shuffleboard.  When you’ve worked up an appetite, choose from a mega menu featuring big game burgers, legendary grills and super sharers to complete your sporting experience.

Next up, over in Kentish Town, we’re drawn like a moth to a flame to the glow of The Vine’s ‘Every Day I’m Shuffling’ neon in the leafy surroundings of NW5. If you follow the light too, you’ll discover two of our finest 12 ft Grand Champion tables. They’re available to hire by the hour and include full table service at the flick of a switch.

How about a traditional pub and gin house, dating back to the 16th Century?  If this sounds right up your street, then SHUFL your way to Ye Olde Cock Tavern in famous Fleet Street, where you’ll find two 14-footers ready for puck off. With function rooms and party packages, this could be your go-to party venue or simply somewhere to let off some steam after a day at the office.  Dog lovers can bring their hounds, so no excuses for going home early and you gotta’ love the pub’s pithy, raise-a-smile chalkboard quotes – one for the Insta-grid!

Finally, we couldn’t round-up our hotspots without a shout out to our newest London SHUFL recruit, The Black Parrot.  It’s the best-kept secret in this part of town, tucked away in Bride Court, a quiet alleyway off Fleet Street, just down the road from Ye Olde Cock Tavern.  Named after a parrot that is native to the Seychelles, it’s home to one the biggest and best rum collections in the world and offers pure fun and escapism. So, it was only a matter of time before they added 18 feet of SHUFL fun to the mix!   Rum lovers, extend your stay and book in for a masterclass with the Black Parrot’s award-winning bar team for a rum discovery journey culminating in a rarity from the private collection.
