Thrill-seekers step this way for a spooktackular SHUFLween

Here’s our choice of the top three venues serving up a devilish game of Shuffleboard this Halloween:

  1. 1. Roxy Ballroom, Merrion Street, Leeds

If it’s FUN you’re on the hunt for this Halloween, then Roxy Ballroom, Merrion Street is THE thrill-seeker’s gaming mecca.  Reserve one of two 18ft shuffleboard tables and take on your friends and foes over a ‘Scared Shotless’ cocktail.  If you’re feeling famished after all that gaming, then devour a Roxy pizza.  Second-coming? Try your hand at ping pong, beer pong or pool before the sun comes up…

  1. BrewDog Outpost, Tower Hill

Calling all Werewolves….! The flagship BrewDog ‘Outpost’, Tower Hill invites you to sink your fangs into a BrewDog Burger, washed down with their Halloween special: A Wolf’s Supper cocktail, a drool-worthy mix of lone wolf gin, fresh lime, ginger and orange bitters.  If cocktails don’t make you want to howl at the moon, sniff out a Jack Hammer IPA or a Dead & Berried Cider.  With three mega 22ft shuffleboard tables to play on, you’ll more than work up an appetite.

  1. Manahatta, Headingley

On the Otley Run in Leeds, Manahatta, Headingly is new for 2018.  Offering a taste of the Big Apple, it houses two 18ft shuffleboard tables. Challenge friends to a sundown shuffleboard duel to see who holds their nerve in a fight to the death. Then bury the hatchet over a Red Devil Pizza accompanied by a Violet Lady cocktail, a floral twist on the White Lady, or, for the bloodthirsty, a full-bodied glass of Malbec Santa Ana Reserva.
